The Warmup cape Classic Mocca thermal blanket has been developed for drying and keeping dogs warm in cold and damp conditions. The inner lining is highly absorbent terry cloth and the thermal lining further enhances drying. The advantage of the Classic model is its quick use on and off, it can be used well without a belt when the dog is on standby. The Classic model is ideal for retrieving working dogs, who have to sit on standby after getting wet. It prevents water tail, as well as joint and muscle pain caused by cold. Especially older dogs or dogs suffering from joint problems benefit from the Warmup cape. Veterinarians in the product’s home country of Germany recommend using Warmup for dogs working in water. Dress the wet dog first with the terry cloth side facing the dog, wait 20-30 minutes and turn the fleece side towards the dog. This way, the terry cloth dries the dog first and the fleece side keeps it warm. Drying first significantly enhances the dog’s ability to stay warm, rather than putting a jacket directly on a wet coat. The product has a detachable belt, which allows the blanket to be quickly put on and taken off, for example, between retrievals in hunting or training. It is also suitable as the bottom layer under other blankets, as the belt can be left off completely. Always choose a slightly larger size so that the jacket comes sufficiently over the tail.
