Gibson Memphis manufactured many ES-335s, ES-175s, and other semi-acos and full-acos until its closure in 2018. This time we have a 2016 Gibson Memphis/ES-335 Figured Feded Light Burst in stock! Based on the ES-335, the standard model of the ES series, this laminated construction body is made of AAA grade figured maple poplar. The neck is made of one-piece mahogany and the fingerboard is rosewood. The neck grip is “Rounded “C” for easy gripping. The truss rod cover has the f-hole mark adopted from the 2015 model. The finish color is a vivid “Feded Light Burst”, which accentuates the graininess of the figured wood. The original “Burstbucker 1 & 2” pickups are installed. The vintage PAF sound is reproduced with the original Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups, which are also compatible with the semi-acoustic pickups. There are some scratches and scuffs on the parts.
